Raleigh, NC – Lee Davis, Head of Agency for Clean Advertising & Design, announced that the North Carolina Healthcare Association (NCHA) has chosen Clean as their creative agency partner for a new healthcare workforce development campaign.

NCHA represents over 130 hospitals, health systems and healthcare providers across the state. It strives to create a strong and healthy North Carolina by being an innovator, convener, active listener and tireless advocate to ensure local communities have access to the care they need when they need it.

NCHA has asked Clean to develop an awareness campaign that encourages North Carolina teenagers to consider a career in the healthcare industry. Health systems and hospitals are Top 3 employers in 45 North Carolina counties and Top 10 employers in 92 counties of the state, employing more than 268,000 people. Yet, they struggle with continued labor shortages across a wide range of jobs. Clean will achieve this objective by developing a dynamic campaign that includes creative materials, content creation, and a campaign website.

““We are excited about working with Clean to introduce high school and middle school students to some of the many ways they can have a satisfying career in healthcare. When most people think about healthcare jobs, they envision doctors, nurses and other clinical positions, but there are hundreds of opportunities beyond patient care. Jobs in the administrative, business, IT and finance side of healthcare, for example, help provide what clinicians need to succeed. Other job roles may surprise people, from facility design architects or food and nutrition specialists, to working in a virtual visit support role,” said Tatyana Kelly, senior vice president of Planning, Strategy and Member Services at NCHA.

“As an agency focused on doing meaningful work, we couldn't be more excited to partner with the North Carolina Healthcare Association in their efforts to build a homegrown pipeline of future healthcare workers,” said Davis. The campaign will be completed over the course of 2023-2024 and available to healthcare partners of the association beginning mid-2024.
