Tom Hickey, Vice President and Director of Media Strategy, is a well-versed marketing professional with more than 30 years of experience helping some of the largest brands in the world connect with their audiences.
Beginning his career at Grey Advertising in New York, Tom went on to work at several well-known agencies in the industry, including Universal McCann, McKinney, and Moxie.
At Clean, Tom manages the growing media team and drives tangible results for clients, from strategy and planning to implementation. He helped establish Clean’s Free Lunch podcast, which covers all facets of the media industry. Tom also serves on the agency’s leadership team, where his major market and agency experience combined with his creative thinking contributed largely to the remarkable growth of the agency.
He has been a part of several award-winning campaigns and provided counsel to national and international clients such as Audi, Nasdaq, Sony, Microsoft, P&G, Travelocity, Verizon Wireless, Virgin Mobile, and the Quaker Oats Company.
Tom volunteers his free time coaching baseball for the South Durham Little League and also serves on the organization’s board of directors.
